Non-Release Division: 

  • Prizes for first, second and third largest striped bass are given to the largest striped bass that is slot legal for NYS Fishing Regulations (28" -35").  Heaviest "slot legal fish" will be the winner, ties will be broken by length closest to 35" first. First, second and third largest bluefish will be determined by weight.   
  • No fish will be accepted that does not meet NYS Fishing Regulations. Striped Bass, 1 fish per angler minimum length of 28" and 35" maximum length. Bluefish, no NYS minimum length angler bag limit of 15 fish of which 10 must be greater than 12" 
  • Tournament fishing will commence at 8pm on September 24th and will conclude at 5pm on September 25th. If weather forces cancellation of scheduled tournament, it will be rescheduled for September 26th from 5am to 5pm.  
  • There are no geographic fishing boundaries.

Catch & Release Division: 

  • The Catch and Release Division will only target striped bass. 
  • If there are six or more boats participating in the division prizes for first, second and third longest striped bass will be awarded to the first, second and third longest striped bass presented by photograph.   If the division fields less than six boats only a single prize for the longest striped bass will be given.   Ties may occur in this division. 
  • Catch and Release Division boats must announce their intent to compete in that division by the registration deadline and will not be eligible to compete in the Non-Release Division. 
  • All fish entered must be photographed clearly next to tournament provided ruler. 
  • Photographs must be emailed to tournament judges between 8am and 5pm on September 25th 2021.  Email address will be provided at Captain's Party on September 24th

Prizes, Gifts and Events:

  • All registered boats will receive one four team tournament long sleeve tee shirts along with a customized sports cooler. 
  • Tournament will sponsor a Non-Release Division $150 Striper, a Non-Release Division $150 Bluefish and a Catch and Release Division Striper Calcutta with 33% of each pool going to the ELIH Foundation.
  • All Captains and crew members are invited to the pre-tournament Captain's Meeting and Rules Review, at least one team member should attend. Captain's Meeting will take place from 6pm to 7pm on Sept 24th at "The Station" located on the southeast most section of the Port of Egypt property.
